The ombudsman program protects the rights of nursing home residents by investigating and resolving residents concerns. They regularly visit nursing homes to determine whether resident's needs are being met, they are safe from abuse. The program serves Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson and Washington counties in Kentucky.
