Warner is a lifelong Louisville resident. He attended the Louisville Collegiate School from kindergarten through the 12th grade and got his first taste of the law while competing on Collegiate's very successful Mock Trial team which advanced to the state championships two years in a row. Following graduation in 2000, Warner attended Vanderbilt University Nashville where he majored in Political Science and was involved in student government. After college, he returned to Kentucky where he received a full scholarship to the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. While he enjoyed Chase, his desire to practice law in Louisville led him to transfer to the Louis Brandeis College of Law at the University of Louisville. During law school, Warner excelled and was awarded the Marlin Volz academic scholarship, became a member of the Brandeis Law Review, and was invited to join the prestigious Brandeis Honor Society. He graduated with honors in May 2008. Warner began working with the firm in the spring of 2007 and has had a hand in some of the firm’s biggest cases. In fact, just weeks after sitting for the Bar exam, he helped Hans try the firm’s biggest case to date, Carroll v. Hornung. The two-week medical malpractice trial resulted in a verdict of over $5,000,000 for our clients (the verdict was not appealed and was settled for a confidential amount following trial, you can read the Courier Journal Newspaper article here.) Warner passed the Bar exam with flying colors and has since become an integral part of the firm.
